Products & Services // Marketing - HTML EmailsWe can design an email template for you to use with your preferred email campaign sender. Simply enter in your message and hit send. Delivered to your recipient's inbox is a branded, professional communication so your message stands out. Contact Reaper for an HTML email solution. First ImpressionsThe first impression your email makes is 'From' and 'Subject.' Customising the 'From' field so it's not a generic 'info' or 'postman' can help your customers identify and find your email simply by sorting for your name, or your company name. It also establishes context by saying who the sender is & when read in relation to the subject line, why the email's relevant. Having a generic 'info' or 'postman' 'From' field is likely to send your email to trash because the sender isn't identified. Instead, use your name or your company name in the 'From' field. Likewise with the subject line - make it relevant for the recipient and give them a reason why they should open it. 'Newsletter' doesn't say anything, 'Special offers today only on xyz' gives a sense of urgency & outlines exactly what the email is about. ![]() Engaging ContentOnce the recipient opens your email, you want to engage them through layout, copy and images. This is where having an HTML email can make the difference because it will stand out from a text only email (black text, white background). On an HTML email, we ensure the colour scheme and typography reflect the brand's visual identity and the header area incorporates the logo and strapline (as applicable). Because images don't automatically load in most email programmes we don't rely on them to convey your message. We ensure images in the template have relevant alt tags so the recipient knows what the image shows and design the layout so the email doesn't look empty if images aren't shown.
Last ImpressionsWe use the footer area of HTML emails to reiterate the branding and provide clear calls to action, links to the website & social media pages (as applicable) and the all important unsubscribe link. |
