Nicholas Young BEng(hons) MIET, Managing Director

Nicholas Young was born in London, 1975. He was educated at the Dragon School and Radley College in Oxford. He achieved a BEng (hons) degree in Electronics, Design and Technology at the University of East Anglia, Norwich. His dissertation was in TLM Modelling of Sound Propagation.

Since leaving university employers have included BMC Software, where he held the position of network administrator, and Fordway Solutions where he was a network engineer installing and maintaining Novell and Microsoft networks.

His preferred pastime is travelling and he has been on an expedition with the Scientific Exploration Society to Sarawak studying wild Orangutan. He has spent four months in South Africa assisting the Bishop of Umzimvubu in Natal and observing the first national elections. He has lived in Sarawak, Malaysia and Egypt. And has also travelled extensively including Zimbabwe, Zambia, India, Bhutan and Japan.

Nicholas Young moved full time into the Internet world at the beginning of the millenium by forming Reaper Enterprises Ltd.

Alex Gee BA(hons), Account Manager

Educated at Westminster Under School and Westminster School in London, Alex went on to study French Language and Literature at the University of East Anglia (UEA) where he met Nicholas and they became good friends. Firstly pursuing a career in retail for a number of years, as a buyer at Hatchards in Piccadilly, and then assisting in the running of a family business, the Childrens Book Centre.

After reading more children's books than was probably good for him he went on to join Reaper Enterprises. Alex brings to Reaper Enterprises a background and wealth of experiences gained in a different industry with more of a focus on customer service and administration. Certain clients have found that his speed at invoicing is now faster than you can say, "send me the bill"!

Gus Reed, Senior Web Developer

Gus was educated at Ryde School, Isle of Wight and then at the Royal Grammar School, Guildford, before going to Exeter University to study Physics. He found his first job at a small software company in London's Docklands developing custom CRM software for Call Centres. He stayed for six years working with several large financial companies in the UK, Germany, Italy and Switzerland. In 2003, Gus decided to move into developing for the web and joined Reaper Enterprises in 2004. His skill-set includes: HTML, PHP, JavaScript, CSS, SQL, Perl and ASP.
